Recognized Expertise in assessment and protection of Intellectual Property rights (including Trade Secrets, Confidential Information or Know-How), Privacy Rights and/or Patient Rights (HIPPA, 21 CFR Part 11) in business data, third party (Customer) data, genomic, biological or clinical data generated during the course of business or operations- Development and sale of “countermeasures” and other products and services for Biosecurity and Public Health protection under the Pandemic All-Hazards Preparedness Act (PAHPA), including the identification of opportunities for funding and to collaborate in public-private partnerships; liability protection for “Anti-Terrorism Technology” under the SAFETY Act and Pub.L. 85-804
- Tech Transfer in collaborations with Government agencies or academic institutions, including advice regarding the licensing of rights in inventions in grants, CRADAs, “other transactions,” and sponsored research agreements that may include as a party the Public Health Service, DoD, DOE Labs or other Government agencies. Knowledge of FAR and DFAR, Bayh-Dole, FTTA, NIH/Public Health Service rules and practices.
